JVAA & Art in the Village are hosting this one-time, low-cost class on October 6 to promote the arts in Jackson, TN for Tennessee Craft Week!
This is an introductory class to teach basic DIY chalk paint recipes, painting techniques, distressing and wax finishes. Participants should bring 1-2 small projects such as small mirrors, picture frames, jars, decorative bottle, etc. Items with texture details are best to learn distressing & aging techniques. (No large furniture for this class - only items smaller than a bread box that can be easily carried to & from class.)
